Milson - a club with a BIG agenda

Members meet before their meal
AG Scott led us through the streets of Palmerston North to the beautiful venue for their meeting.  Arriving at The Chalet on the banks of the Manawatu River and with the sun streaming through the windows that overlooked the water, we sat and met with the Board.  President Murray has every reason to be proud of the Club and

it's plans.  There is much planned and much activity underway which is keeping members engaged and involved.  From coin trails to water projects in Ruchi, from social events to work with the local schools and the local hospice, from sending young people to RYPEN and the Science Forum to running a major golf tournament, assisting with the New Zealand business week and putting a huge effort into the Special Olympics - this Club is

active.
The hospitality was great the food superb.  The attentive listening to my 46th presentation was much appreciated by Jenny and myself - even if PDG Glen did keep assisting by adding vital and very pertinent comments.  The challenge I left the club was how can they can become bigger, better and bolder in their actions in the community.

Thank you Milson.
