Training for our incoming Presidents is very important to ensure Clubs are effectively led from year to year. In the past we have run District based training courses - namely the Presidents Elect Training Seminar (PETS). RI President has asked the 6 New Zealand and South Pacific Districts to hold an Multi-District PETS. This is an exciting departure to what we have done and has it's own challenges. Clubs I have visited have in the most part been most supportive and look forward to attending Waipuna in 5-6 March 2011. I encourage all Clubs to support their President Elect to attend. The training will include separate sessions for Districts to work with their respective DG Elect, and also top quality plenary sessions.
