Tomorrow morning when the rest of us are still sound asleep, those from our district bound for India, board their flight. They travel to India, led by PDG Pat Waite and Melva, to take part in the National Immunisation Day (NID). Late news received by the group has meant that they will not be experiencing the full involvement in the NID as the immunisation effort has been postponed by one week week. But nevertheless, this group of some 30 Rotarians are going to have a life changing experience. To see a previous posting on this adventure click here ...They are also to be given a special reception by the New Zealand High Commissioner Jan Henderson (13 January) and it is possible that our own Governor General, Sir Anand Satyanand, will also be able to join them.
