Bigger, Bolder RED NOSE DAY - 19 November

The Red Nose Day is coming back!!

Rotary began Cure Kids some 35 years ago, supporting research into life-threatening childhood illnesses affecting Kiwi kids.  Can you believe it, the last Red Nose Day was some 13 years ago!!

This year Rotary Clubs throughout New Zealand have been provided the opportunity to be "community partner" in the up coming Red Nose Day appeal which supports Cure Kids.

This campaign starts on 1 November and culminates at 10am on 19 November with a Red Nose morning tea across New Zealand.  Together with Paper Plus outlets Rotary Clubs are encouraged to support the event in their project calendar.

Attached is a letter outlining to day, here ….

Actions your Club can take.  I suggest:
  • Nominate a person in your Club as the ‘Red Nose’ coordinator
  • Identify ways your Club can associate with Paper Plus stores and Shell Service Stations in our District order to provide a BOLD profile in your community.
  • Plan to support the ‘Red Nose’ morning tea on the Friday of 19 November
I'm sure you will agree, this is a fun activity for a very worthwhile cause.

With our combined efforts Rotary can again be seen as relevant and active in building communities.  Let’s make it happen in your community.
