Today another series of devastating earthquakes hit Christchurch. We must really feel for our friends in Christchurch as they are still recovering from the previous quakes. This latest event today leaves residents even more on a knife edge as they struggle to come to terms with more damage, loss of water and electricity for thousands of residents and further damage to buildings. Schools are closed tomorrow and emergency services are working hard to support a community still wondering when these 'after shoicks' are to end. Remember that as Rotarians we can contribute to the fund to assist our 'family' at this time by visiting the Rotary New Zealand World Community web site.
New Zealand Herald states: "Another 50 Christchurch buildings are likely to come down after the latest round of earthquakes hit the devastated city today."
