Off to a good start
During November 2009, Jenny and I travelled the District to meet up with incoming Presidents of District 9940. These sessions (PEPS - President Preparatory Seminars) were held to enable the new Presidents and their Assistant Governors to meet and commence to develop a focus for their new year. Each session was very informal, no over heads and no formalities. Just an opportinuty to hear my plans for the incoming year and to encourage thos attending to start pulling together their ideas and their teams. My District theme of Actions Count! was introduced and this was prior to going to the San Diego to hear the Intenational theme announced. We held six seminars in Inglewoord, Taihape, Masteron, Hutt, Paraparaumu and Wellington. We asked for feedback and the comments were very positive confirming this is the way we should go next year as well.
