Suasage, singing and seasons greetings!!

Anyone for a sausage?
What a great night!

The Rotary Club of Tawa have an annual Carol Sing - sometimes referred to as "Carols and Roses", as it is held near a rose garden.  The weather was marginal but the spirits of the families rose above the cold conditions and the odd shower.  In fact, it all went off so well - with a good turnout, ably
supported by local clergy, singers and families.  The Porirua Trust Brass Band played well.
President Tony calling the shots
Everyone had a great time.  President Tony rightly pointed
out that we needed to remember those communities who had recently had tough times.
The final act upstaged everyone as Father Christmas arrived in the local Fire Rescue vehicle to the delight of all the children.  The lolly

scramble and the laughter of the children made this such a worthwhile activity - bringing the community together.

Another great rotary project.
