Here are photos of members of the Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt painting the fence around the younger persons play area at Avalon Park as their Project for the District Project Day. The Club has had a close association with the Park and the Pavilion for many years and this project was decided on after consultation with the Hutt City Council. The 7 colours of the rainbow were used thus making the entire area brighter and more appealing to young people. [Club Reporter Jaye Howey]
