Excitement builds over "Taveuni Ambulance" project

Petone's bulletin reads:
Well done to Mike Bolton for working with DG Howard Tong to arrange a District fund raising
effort to purchase one of Wellington’s (past their use by date in New Zealand) Free Ambulances.  This fully equipped vehicle will be gifted to the people of Taveuni, one of the islands that make up Fiji. We look forward to the handover Mike, it will be a big very exciting event ‐ even if we need to put in our share of, or raise $900. Perhaps we could all join in the excitement and go over on holiday for the handover?
We can all play our part - every Rotarian in New Zealand will be proud of this gift to the Pacific Island community.  For more information contact AG Scott Bruce - details in the directory.
