This is NOT Pigs for Polio
Hop in car, leave Palmerston, travel over the Pahiatua Track, reach Greytown, order a coffee, relax by the fire, meet local Rotarians Gretel and Vicky, have another coffee, hop in car, travel by convoy, drive past homestead, backtrack, meet Brian Tucker, size up for gumboots, hop into Brian's truck, head for the piggery, walk through the mud, into an exclosure with scores of little piglets, progress through to meeting the sows - boy they're big!!, watch them suckle their litter, hop back in truck, off to dairy farm, stand behind the cows being milked in the 'rotary' milk shed, Jenny likes cows!!, back into truck, thanks to Brian and Jenny, get back to town, travel via Vicky's lovely home, get changed, off to White Swan to meet President Steve and his team. A great way to see a little more of the Wairarapa. Thanks for the experience.
