Thought for the Day

It is customary in most Clubs to have a clever or inspirational quote to end a meeting.  Let's add your own - by adding it as a comment to this post.  Let's see how many we can achieve in a week.  I would think we could get at least 100 - and from any country in the word.  After all,  we are a world-leading International Service Organisation.  Come back to this post to read what others have added.  Add more than one.  I'll start the ball rolling!!

  2. Here are a couple. The first is related to your theme "Actions Count", the second just appeals to me.

"Speech is conveniently located midway between thought and action, where it often substitutes for both." John Andrew Holmes, "Wisdom in Small Doses"

"Eternity's a terrible thought. I mean, where's it all going to end?" Tom Stoppard (1937 - ), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (1967)

My preferred site for quotations is www.quotationspage.com
