Whew - my first visit is out of the way!

Jenny and I visited the Rotary Club of Karori tonight - PDG David's club.  Unfortunately David was not there as he was at the Feilding Club, but the meeting of the Board was informative and certainly gave a good view of the plans and the direction of the Club in the next 12 months.  Meeting in the Marsden College cafeteria, we joined the members and I nervously completed my first presentation.  It was also nice to have the support of John Bishop and Chris Robertson - and I am sure they will have some pointers for me to improve my delivery in the coming months.  It was good to meet a young visitor who was asking about the formation of a Rotaract Group in Wellington.  She came along after visiting the Club's web site!  http://karorirotary.org.nz/.
The Club also launched their 'Pigs for Polio' campaign.  Great to see creative and innovative projects.  Now only 59 more Clubs to go.  [Pictured is IPP Douglas Webb and President Michael Fagg who won the raffle on Changeover night]
