I would like to congratulate all those Rotarians who stood for office in the recent local body elections. For those not successful it is good to see your willingness to contribute to society in this way, and I am sure there will be another time when the voters will be more in favour of your success. For those successful, I am sure you will serve your community well. I know that as Rotarians with the four way test as a guide, you will certainly assist in Building Communities in your own neighbourhood.
If someone in your Club has been successful, please add a comment to this posting.
From Tawa Club: Ngaire Best was successful for Wellington City Council; and Robert Tredger, Malcolm Sparrow and Chris Reading were successful for the Tawa Community Board
