I would personally like to thank all those who attended the concert this afternoon for their support.  Over 100 attended the afternoon concert at Old St Paul's where they enjoyed New Zealand's top talent in the performance of a wide variety of musical numbers.  A huge thanks to the artists and to members and friends for their support.  The was a 50's bracket, sone Leonard Cohen andbob Dylan - a sprinkle of songs from Miss Saigon and Phantom, and to top it off, Bizet's Carmen and an aria fro Puccini's La Boheme and ending with O mio babbino caro.  Laughter, music and history - all in one glorious package!!

The contributions from this concert to the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal and the End Polio Now fund could be greater if......(as a suggestion) all Clubs would use their sergeant session this week to ask those unable to attend to contribute towards  the Earthquake

and Polio fund.  Funds could be sent to Judy Dearsely at Eastern Hutt Club to add to the total.
