Rotarians enjoy cycle challenge
Kapiti Rotary President Murray Lobb says "many people would be surprised to see a bunch of Rotarians flash past on bicycles, but that's what we do on a regular basis."
Mr Lobb was part of a six man team from the Rotary Club of Kapiti which tackled the Taupo Cycle Challenge.
"There is an active group within the club who train and ride socially on Saturday mornings. Some are more serious that others but it's a great way to get fit and stay fit and we have a lot of fun," says Mr Lobb who had also competed in long distance cycle events in Manawatu and Masterton.
