We are on the road!  We have had a great week going to South Wairarapa Club for their changeover on Wednesday evening as well as Otaki on Thursday night.  Jenny drove while I collected my thoughts.  We had to leave work early in order to get to our various destinations in plenty of time.  We met at Featherton ANZAC Hall for their Changeover, greeted with a glass of mulled wine and an evening of laughter and friendship.  Two PHF's were presented to very surprised members and Norrie Miller's humour and wicked wink was delightful.  It was good to discover that incoming President Steve is a fellow thespian who also acted for Wgtn Repertory.
Meanwhile at Otaki we arrived again to be greeted with mulled wine and arrived with the required apron and rubber gloves.  Meeting in their own Rotary hall, we had a night of laughter and more humour as President Allan outlined his plans for the new Rotary Year.
It was a pleasure to award a PHF to Tony Hempleman and John Hume.
At both events Jenny and I were well supported by Marilyn and Deb - the respective AG's.
