Heretaunga - a happy 40th was enjoyed by all

What a great evening.  Laughter, memories, song, raffles, speeches, happy birthdays, cut ties....  WHAT, cut ties????  Yes indeed, the current and past DG's present (Tong, Douglass, Ross, Leggott and Macaskill) were asked to step forward, a formal photo  was taken and then, within a blink of an eye, scissors were produced and our ties were symbolically cut!!!  Heretaunga is stating that they are going to be making their actions count and they will be changing and picking up my challenge to move with the times.  The question is asked - what will Heretaunga Club be like in another 40 years time?  They have achived much, and there is much more this fine Club will achive with the right approach, leadership and direction.
