Sunday 21 November, the weather in Wellington looked very daunting first thing but cleared nicely for the GREAT HARBOUR WAY opening of Stage 1. What a good omen for this project.
Neil Manthel, Allan Brown and President Carol (who hadn't ridden a bike for 40 years) were our club's participants in the ride from Queens Wharf to Shelly Bay, along with Mayors Ray Wallace and Celia Wade-Brown plus another 250 or so excited cyclists.
