Rotary have been asked for manpower to assist in the event, specifically for Gate sales; crowd control (to assist the security); walking the streets around the Racecourse (to keep an eye on the Cars).
ALL the proceeds are going to Christchurch, except for Food and Beverage.
We are also looking for named sponsorship for the event. Interested parties can contact me.
There will be two stages with bands on, around 400 Hot rods from the Rod & Custom Club's in the inner field, rides, stalls etc. to make it feel like a Carnival. Interested parties can contact me.This is the biggest, organised single event organised in the Wellington Region, for raising money for the Christchurch Earthquake apeals.
Date - 30th April 12 Noon to 6:00pm
We are hoping to raise more than $100.000
