A fresh view of your Club's future

Masterton South Club
  • Does your Club need to review it's direction?
  • Does your Club have a five year plan?
  • Have you thought of what your membership will look like in 5 years time?
  • Do you know what the members consider important in your Clubs programme?
  • Have the more recent members of your Club contributed ideas for future projects?
  • Does your Club fully utilise the skills of its members?
  • Is there opportunity for the introduction of new projects?

These and other questions are visited during a Club Visioning session.
Many Clubs have taken advantage of these sessions, well facilitated by trained District members and coordinated by IPDG David Watt.  You end up with a documented action list and the provision of support and you put in place the findings of your planning session.  And it's an enjoyable experience!

Club Vision is aimed at helping Clubs see themselves 5 years out and how to get there.  So far, 10 clubs in District 9940 have picked up this programme and are working hard on their future – Porirua Sundown, Awapuni, Feilding, Petone, Stokes Valley, Straford, Tawa, Wanganui, Wellington and Wellington Central Clubs.
Lining up for Club Vision sessions soon are: Pencarrow, Plimmerton, Port Nicholson, Waverley Aotea, Eastern Hutt, Wellington South and Raetihi-Ohakune. Experienced facilitators help Clubs define priorities and programmes they want to work on for future strength and development. There are others clubs in District 9940 who have expressed interest and want to avail themselves of this programme.

This is a winner for Rotary.

Do let IPDG David know if your Club is interested in taking advantage of this great programme.
