CanTeen - Supporting young people with cancer

Its time for CanTeen's big annual fundraiser - Bandanna Challenge 2010. This year we have our street appeal on Friday 22nd October throughout the streets of wellington CBD and are desperately looking for any volunteers who can help on our stalls and shake buckets (even if only for an hour or two).
Everything will be set up for you and ready with instructions and so you just need to bring your lovely selves and maybe a warm jacket to wgtn city to sell bandannas.  If you aren’t available to help on that day, you might know a friend, family member or colleague who could help out?
We will have stands at Farmers Lambton Qy, New World Metro, Courtenay Central and Unity Books (Willis St) from 7.30am – 6pm as well as mobile sites during the lunch break 11.30am – 1.30pm.

A Bit About Us:  CanTeen’s mission is to support, develop and empower young people aged 13-24 living with cancer through a national peer support network coupled with professional, educational and recreational programs. We are reliant on our own fundraising efforts and the generosity of individuals, the community and corporate partners as we receive no government funding.

If you would like to get involved, please contact me in the office or on my cell as any help you can provide is GREATLY appreciated.
Kind Regards,

Eddie
