Another aspect of Eastern Hutt's Community Service with a (slight) difference! - Cleaning up the Riverbank.
The photo shows some of the team (all ages, you note!) about to clean up the area from Kennedy Good bridge to the Pomare Rail bridge in the Hutt Valley. A full trailer load of rubbish was collected.
This is an annual project as part of the Clean-up New Zealand Day held earlier in the year but postponed this year owing to rain!
