Membership is a vital focus

A request in a recent Club Bulletin - innovative thinking your Club could adopt.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE ASSISTANCE REQUEST

For building the invitation list of potential members to be invited to our proposed Rotary information evening early next year would you please arrange for the appropriate Club member(s) to provide me with the following information;

1 Names of people previously nominated by our Club as:
Tony Poole welcomed as a new member of the
Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt by President Deane
  • Rotary scholars
  • Overseas Exchange students
  • RYLA participants
  • GSE team members
2 The names of the organisations (and their representative) receiving financial and other assistance from our Club over the years.

3 The names of guest speakers invited to address the Club over the years.

I have just returned from an inspirational and informative Institute in Tauranga.
Membership was a topic given much attention and there is a fresh approach being adopted by many as they focus on increasing Club numbers.  Clubs are being formed ranging from Cocktail Clubs, Supper Clubs, Satellite Clubs, Coffee Clubs to E-Clubs. Let's think differently as many in our community want to serve through Rotary - a new approach is required.
