It was a great Changeover with DG Bob accepting the Chain and is now picking up the role come 1 July. In the next four months Bob will be visiting the 59 rotary clubs in the district…. The start of a very busy year ahead.
He outlined his main areas of focus this coming year, those being:
1. To expand the Rotary membership by increasing its appeal to various demographics in the community.
2. To increase contributions to the Rotary Foundation which funds Polio, exchange programmes and humanitarian projects.
3. To encourage Rotary Clubs to collaborate with each other and with a variety of partners in the community to complete bigger and bolder projects.
We are right behind you Bob and I am sure each Club will play their part as we Reach Within to Embrace Humanity.
